India native Swami Varadan found the American dream when he started a great life in Los Angeles. Then, in the span of one month, he lost his car, his job, and his home. After suffering several personal losses and overwhelming grief, he decided to end his life. Just as he was about to jump in front of a train, something stopped him. He had a spiritual awakening and decided to share it with others. Now he passes on the benefits of meditation with kids at LA’s Boys and Girls Clubs, bringing mindfulness to the underprivileged.
