As we go about our days, we encounter many people we don’t know—and don't bother getting to know. Often it’s easiest to simply categorize these passerby as “strangers” and move along. However, photographer Richard Renaldi is determined to change that. He brings together strangers for photographs where they share a human touch. These fleeting moments seemingly awaken an innate sense of caring and empathy in nearly every one of his subjects. His experiment poignantly illustrates just how powerful the connection created by human touch can be.
