5-Year-Olds Step In to Help Their Friend Who Has Cerebral Palsy
Andrea Mackey’s son, Jeffrey, has cerebral palsy. It usually doesn’t slow the dynamic 6-year-old down, but when cold tensed up his muscle at a water park, it made it harder for him to walk. His friends Kane Raymond and Raya Joyce ran to his side, took his hands, and encouraged him to keep going. Jeffrey’s mom says that the experience was an affirmation of people’s kindness, and gave her reassurance that someone will always be there to help him.
