A Compassionate Restaurateur Is Sacrificing His Business for His Community
As the owner of a restaurant, Bruno Serato knows how tough it is to make enough to stay in business. But that reality never stopped him from dipping into his profits to cook and donate meals to the local community. Bruno maintained his charity even during the 2008 recession and in the aftermath of a fire that destroyed his Anaheim, California restaurant. Now, with his restaurant closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Bruno is increasing his efforts by providing free meals to hundreds of people twice a week. Bruno says that he’s no stranger to hard times himself, but no matter how much he loses, he knows the answer is always to give more.
