Navy SEAL, Air Force tactical air controller and U.S. Army Ranger School graduate David Goggins is tough. In fact, he is considered one of the best endurance athletes in the world. In this inspirational video, he describes the challenge that almost destroyed him, and how he strengthened his mind to overcome it. In order to qualify for the Badwater 135 mile ultra-marathon event that takes place in the heat of Death Valley, Goggins had to run 100 miles in under 24 hours. With 21 miles to go, his body gave out. Somehow, he managed to find the mental and physical resources to rally and finish.
