How Adoption, Mentorship, and Hard Work Led This Athlete to the Top of His Game
We all realize that becoming a world-class athlete is an incredibly difficult undertaking. For Purdue sophomore Caleb Swanigan, the road has been even rockier than most. He spent many of his formative years in homeless shelters. but was adopted as a high-school student by retired football player Roosevelt Barnes. His adoptive dad inspired Caleb to work hard, and encouraged him to become the very best he could be. Thanks to mentorship and hard work, Caleb is now one of the top college basketball players in the country.
