Art Literally Feeds the Hungry in This Brilliant Sculpture Competition
A unique sculpture competition is making New York more beautiful, while also feeding hungry people. “Canstruction" challenges architects, designers and engineers to create massive works of art out of unopened food. Founded by the Society for Design Administration, the competition is in its 25th year. Not only do people get to create and enjoy beautiful sculptures, but over 1 million people will be fed thanks to this endeavor. This altruistic idea is simple yet brilliant.
