When Domonic Corradin was a sophomore in high school, he got into a car accident that paralyzed his lower body. After his dad encouraged him to “play the cards he was dealt,” he found a way to get back into his athletic life. He discovered hand cycling, and now teaches and rides competitively. He travels all over the world and has met incredible people. Teaching hand cycling to other people in his position brings him joy: “I love enriching their lives.” Domonic says that if it weren't for his accident he wouldn’t have had these positive experiences and met such amazing people. He turned tragedy into something incredibly rewarding.
