In This Rare Footage, Clouds Roll Like Waves in the Grand Canyon
The Grand Canyon is one of the most visited parks in the entire world, but rarely does anyone get to view it like this. Footage caught by Harun Mehmedinovic and the BBC show an effect called a “full cloud inversion,” and it’s quite magical. The timelapse demonstrates the clouds’ ability to rush in and out of the massive canyon like ocean waves. Part of the Skyglow Project, this video is working to preserve night skies around the globe.
