This Cross Country Coach Paired His Runners with Shelter Dogs, and People Went Wild
What's greater than watching a bunch of high school track runners work out with dogs? Knowing that those dogs are from homeless shelters and have now been adopted. You see, an idea transpired between an outreach program director at an animal shelter and a track team coach. Knowing the dogs weren't getting much love or exercise, Stacey Silva and coach Luis Escobar decided to pair California high school students with dogs for a one-time run. What has transpired since is just beautiful!
