It's the Hug that Saved a Life—Literally
Born 12 weeks premature, twins Kyrie and Brielle Jackson weighed in at just two pounds each. They were already in the NICU, and at just a few weeks old, Brielle went into critical condition. A nurse familiar with the benefits of physical contact decided to put them in the same bed, and almost immediately Brielle improved. In fact, it was a gesture from Kyrie—a hug—that caused the world to notice—and helped both twins grow into happy, healthy young women.
