Storyteller Brian Finkelstein has performed on stages all across America, and he frequently performs improv comedy. Comedians aren’t always experiencing the joy they give us, though. One thing Finkelstein talks about quite seriously is happiness—and his struggle to understand it. Until several rough patches hit, he’d always thought happiness was a kind of weakness. While his wife is the ever-happy one, it took a series of miscarriages and painful memories to make him realize that it takes strength to be joyful in today’s world, and that he, too, could learn to live on the happy side of life.
