This Uniquely Impressive (and Literal!) "Rock" Band Performs a Beloved Classic
We don’t generally think of “rock band” as a literal term. But artist Neil Mendoza set out to create exactly that. He ingeniously built a machine composed of electromechanical instruments that makes music with rocks by throwing them through the air, slapping them, and making them vibrate. He calls this machine a Pinger and in this short film, you can hear Pinger play the Beatles classic, “Here Comes the Sun.” Too cool!
