Students Rush the Court After a Student with Down's Syndrome Makes the Game-Winning Shot
Robert Lewis, a senior at Franklin Road Academy, is the basketball team manager. He also has Down syndrome. With the score of the basketball game tied, and with 90 seconds to go, Robert walked onto the court and scored an epic 3-point shot that won the game. The crowd went wild and rushed the court, hoisting Robert onto their shoulders. Even better: the other team and its fans also rushed the court in a heartwarming, unforgettable display of kindness and sportsmanship.
