In Trinidad and Tobago, “Moko jumbies” are stilt dancers that are the highlight of local celebrations. Adrian Young has been a stilt dancer for 21 years, and lately has been making it an everyday practice with his “Future Jumbies” youth group. He works with kids, passing along this impressive and beautiful art. Kids start out on 1-foot stilts, and then work up to 10-foot-high ones! This video beautifully showcases the dazzling colors and festive feel of this incredible art form.
