This Muralist Was Able to Sketch on Top of an Impossible Mountain
Painter Jess Gilbert has always dreamed of painting mountains and clouds…on top of a mountain. But lugging supplies and a giant blank canvas is no easy feat when your venue is a mountain. Luckily, British Columbian helicopter pilot Brad Friesen agreed to help her get there. Their helicopter flight over to an impossible-to-climb mountain allowed Jess to get the view she’d literally never have been able to get otherwise, and then helped her to re-create the moment on a giant mural in town.
