This Real-Life Ice Castle Rekindles a Town’s Sense of Wonder Each Year
Winters in New Hampshire’s White Mountains are not for the faint of heart. While the temperatures may dip down to nearly -100 degrees Fahrenheit, there is an annual bright spot that appears in the form of a real-life ice castle. Each year, a group of engineers and artists constructs a giant castle entirely made of ice that lights up at night, and just to top it off, includes a full slide. This short film captures the magic of this castle through the eyes of two sisters who get to experience it each winter.
