We All Have Addictions. What Fears and Emotions Are They Really Covering?
While most of us think of addiction in terms of drugs and alcohol, the fact of the matter is that most of are "addicts" in some form or another. It’s often that we suffer in hidden ways, and the reasons can be covert: to cover up a variety of emotions, from fear of success to nervousness over a little event. It’s the need to take action using destructive habits rather than what the addiction itself is that often tears us apart. So can we stop it with self-compassion and understanding?
