Three working moms in Japan were interviewed about their time with their children. They all said things like, “I question myself…if I’m doing okay as a mother,” and “I’m always in a rush.” When their children were asked about their mothers, they didn't mention harried mornings or impatience. They appreciate their mothers, mention their smiles, and even want to be just like them. The disparity between how inadequate many moms feel versus how loved their children feel is important for all moms (and non-moms!) to see.
