Your Eyes Aren’t Playing Tricks on You. That’s the Real Moon
This moon is hard to believe, but it’s real—just an optical illusion of sorts! Daniel Lopez filmed this apparent phenomenon on the Canary Islands using a telescopic lens. The moon does not look that big in person, but due to the compression rate from using such a lens, it looks massive—and active! It’s really the Earth rotating that makes it seem the moon is moving so fast, and you can read more about it on this NASA page.
